You see, Stratford, NZ is where I got to milk cows for the first time. It was special because it was with one of my best friends, the dairy farmer. With little warning and even less instructions, he threw me in the pit with 20 cow butts facing me. I was in knee deep. Well, not quite that deep but it might as well have been. Dairy farmers work way too hard and I can say for sure they deserve more money for all the stuff they have to deal with. If you are ever in Stratford there is a good chance you will run into a dairy farmer. Give them a thank you for all the milk and cheese and ice cream.
