About the Name:
While Driving through the backcountry we got lost and it was getting late. So we decided to set up camp and try and figure out where we were in the morning. We were fortunate enough to find a sweet little spot next to Cement Creek. Early the next morning we packed up and drove about 5 minutes down the road and boom, Silverton, CO! We had no intention of going to Silverton. We were suppose to come out of the mountains about 20 miles north of Silverton. However, what a blessing getting lost was that day. We had never been to this little mountain town and it was so so much fun. We got some old time photos taken and the little boys were able to pan for jewels and gold. I can’t wait to get lost again.
